Project Brief
This award winning flagship structure was a central part of the wider regeneration plan for Kensington Oval in preparation for the hosting of the 2007 ICC World Cup. CEP came on board after the initial scheme development by Arup Associates.
We were responsible for the detailed structural analysis and design of this five storey structure. Reinforced concrete moment frames with raking columns were employed from levels 1 to 4 and structural steel for the signature curved roof structure which employed 7m cantilever beams.
CEP was also responsible for the initial geotechnical design work as well as the design of the piled foundations.
